Had a lovely Christmas lunch for 10 of us. Plenty of food and hot. We had a gluten free request and they catered for this very well. Atmosphere and service was really good.
The room was absolutely stunning and great value, was left speechless at the décor and how homely it felt! Absolutely incredible staff in both the hotel and bar/restaurant. Hotel staff always greeted us with a smile and a friendly "good morning" and the room was always clean and restocked if items were used. Breakfast was delicious and the Service was brilliant and very quick. Very laid back vibe and No curfew means you can explore the local nightlife at your own leisure. Located directly opposite the miniature railway which can make for a great day out, and with situated a few yards from a local bus route as well. Would definitely recommend for a lovely stay, and was perfect for our weekend stay.
Lovely friendly hotel excellent staff. I had room 5 which had a great view of the rhd railway at new romney station. Comfortable bed. Clean shower room with modern fittings. Plenty of complimentary tea/coffe/milk nice size mugs
Since the change of ownership about a year ago, The Howey has transformed dramatically. The owner (Dino) and management have spent so much time, money and effort transforming this place from ‘just a pub’ to a real community asset. The management in particular (Bruce, Lindsay) give the place such a positive, welcoming family feel. Food is fairly priced, ample portions and delicious. Highlights for us are the loaded fries from the pub snacks menu and we love our Saturday morning breakfasts every few weeks. I cannot recommend this place enough - a gem.
Booked last minute and arrived late. Easy check-in over WhatsApp. Given upgrade and room was great, better than expected. I was worried about any noise but really quiet, slept well. Would definitely book again, oh and great price can't beat!
We came for breakfast with Santa and we was not disappointed, the staff were welcoming, the pub and restaurant was nicely decorated and very festive. The cooked breakfast was amazing and the pancakes went down a treat with the children, Santa himself was really good and great with the children. We will definitely be recommending this place to our friends and family.
I and 2 friends had a Sunday roast .The food was excellent and served on hot plates which is a must for us. The service was extremely helpful and friendly.We definitely recommend and will be going again.
Thank you so much for a very comfortable weekend stay. Our double room was spacious with plenty of storage, large comfortable bed with plenty of pillows. A beautiful bay window with a comfy chair. The en-suite shower room was clean and the shower was lovely and hot. Tea/coffee making facilities were perfect and much needed after day of travelling back to the UK. I would definitely recommend you to others too.
